The 2016 MINI Cooper Convertible comes equipped with a MINI TwinPower Turbo 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 134 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, matched to a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
For added excitement the 2016 MINI Cooper S Convertible steps up to a MINI TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine that increases displacement to 2.0 liters. Producing 189 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque and matched to a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatic transmission, or a six-speed sport automatic transmission with paddle shifters, it can sprint to 60 mph in less than seven seconds.
Both models also offer a sporty and confident tuned suspension system that soaks up bumps and eats up miles during every drive.
