The makers of the 2016 MINI Cooper and 2016 MINI Cooper S and the whole exciting lineup of MINI cars recently announced the official opening of the registration period for this year’s MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 cross-country rally. This year’s rally marks the 10th anniversary of the event. Adults can participate in a variety of ways with single-city or multi-city rally tickets available. Children younger than 12 years can participate for free. The rally begins on July 9 and travels through 15 states.
But perhaps the even more exciting news is that MINI has designated the hunger-relief organization Feeding America® as the Official Charity Partner of the rally. The organization is the largest of its type in America, and works with food banks throughout the country to help fight domestic hunger. Some of the registration fee proceeds will contribute towards the organization’s efforts. Participants in the MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 rally can help in additional ways as well including raising funds, bringing donations, or volunteering at local food banks.
