The big football game that everybody watches perhaps more so for the commercials than for the football action comes around every year around this time. Our friends at MINI have a great ad in store for the game. The ad calls on drivers everywhere to Defy Labels and features celebrities and athletes as well as non-celebrities. It’s scheduled to air during the third quarter of the game and will likely be seen by 100-million-plus viewers.
It’s a great theme for an automaker that has been doing just that for a long time. MINI has been building small cars that deliver big time performance and big time excitement. For some great evidence just check out some of the new MINI cars that will be featured in the ad like the 2016 MINI Cooper and the 2016 MINI Clubman, an all-new MINI car that boasts five doors and a big interior, along with tons of cool high tech features and amenities. The 2016 MINI Clubman also delivers the big time fun and exciting performance for which MINI vehicles are known and loved here at MINI of Peabody and around our area here in Massachusetts, and all around the world.
According to Tom Noble, MINI Brand Communications department head, “Ever since the first MINI was built in 1959, it has been labeled as one thing or another. It’s small. It’s cute… This campaign acknowledges those labels in a very authentic way while simultaneously showing people MINI is more than that. With the launch of the new Clubman, our brand is growing up, our products are more sophisticated, and it’s time to reset the conversation.”
So if you love checking out the big football game for the commercials that air during the breaks in the football action, then we think you’ll love the great ad from our friends at MINI.
